The results of the Türkiye University Satisfaction Survey (TÜMA) 2025, conducted by the University Research Laboratory (ÜniAr) to measure the satisfaction levels of undergraduate students across Türkiye, have been announced. The survey was carried out with 50,000 students enrolled at 200 universities, including 126 state universities and 74 foundation universities. According to the results, Konya Technical University achieved a notable success by ranking 12th in the State Universities Overall Satisfaction category.
Based on students’ experiences across a wide range of areas, particularly academic, social, and physical opportunities, TÜMA aims to reveal the extent to which higher education institutions are student-centered. Built on comprehensive student feedback, the survey not only contributes to the Turkish higher education system, but also provides valuable guidance for universities in shaping their own development processes.
The University’s strong performance is regarded as a clear reflection of its policies that prioritize student satisfaction and the importance it places on the quality of education. In the State Universities Overall Satisfaction Ranking, KTÜN placed 12th among 126 state universities, outperforming many of Türkiye’s leading institutions. In the Overall University Satisfaction Ranking, where both state and foundation universities are evaluated together, the University ranked 27th among 200 universities. It also ranked first by a wide margin among universities in Konya.
KTÜN also moved up three places compared to the previous year in the Satisfaction with Institutional Management and Operation Ranking, rising to 8th place. The University ranked 13th in Academic Support and Interest, and 16th in the Richness of Learning Opportunities and Resources category.
Conducted with the aim of providing data to enhance universities’ development and responsiveness, the TÜMA 2025 survey was carried out on the basis of Council of Higher Education (YÖK) statistics and included 200 universities with undergraduate students in the 2024–2025 academic year. Of these institutions, 126 were state universities and 74 were foundation universities.
